MICRONEEDLING FAQ

  • What is microneedling, and how does it work?

Microneedling is a collagen-stimulating treatment that uses tiny needles to create micro-injuries in the skin. This triggers the body’s natural healing process, boosting collagen and elastin production to improve texture, fine lines, acne scars, and overall skin tone.

  • What are the benefits of microneedling?

Microneedling helps with fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, enlarged pores, uneven skin tone, and overall skin rejuvenation. It enhances skin texture and promotes a youthful, glowing complexion.

Most clients find microneedling very tolerable! A numbing cream is applied beforehand to minimize discomfort, and the treatment feels like a mild prickling or vibration on the skin.

  • How long is the downtime after microneedling?

Downtime is minimal—most people experience redness and slight sensitivity for 24–48 hours, similar to a mild sunburn. You may also have light peeling as your skin regenerates.

  • How many sessions do I need to see results?

You’ll notice brighter, smoother skin after just one session, but for best results, a series of 3–4 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart is recommended for collagen rebuilding and long-term improvement.

  • Can exosomes be added to my microneedling treatment?tem

Yes! Exosomes can be added to your microneedling treatment to enhance healing, boost collagen production, and accelerate skin regeneration. These powerful stem cell-derived messengers help reduce redness, speed up recovery, and maximize results, leading to smoother, more radiant skin with even less downtime.
